Yesterday another habit tracking tool launched on product hunt. Lately, I started to evaluate the whole habits, self-help world, and realize that this is all kind of BS.
The only way to really change something or to learn comes from realizing that something that you have been doing does fundamentally not help you.
Only then, something changes.
All the rest; doing things because they are prescribed to you or doing it for some ‘streak’ is short-lived. You seek solutions instead of asking better questions.
It’s only the question that leads to sincere realization. All answers or solutions lead to new problems, which continue into a constant quest to seek that one thing that might work.
That’s why we keep buying books, downloading apps until we realize that this is all BS and start to examine one's own life.
